SANTA

Today we braved the cold weather and went to meet Santa for the first time. No tears this year...I'm sure next year will be much more dramatic. Both girls just starred at the strange man and Scarlett pulled his beard just to be sure it was real--it was!

If Hadleigh could talk..."I'd choose this guy over Santa any day!"...until she realizes Santa brings presents...

Shelly's Wedding

Here are pictures from Shelly's wedding (Christian's sister) from Little Rock this weekend. It was a beautiful ceremony and the bride looked radiant. Hadleigh made it through the rehearsal dinner and reception with no problems. She got tired towards the end and ended the night in her pajamas, which made her much happier. It was a great weekend.

A Busy November

November has flown by and I have not been very good at keeping this updated...so here's the month in review...
Hadleigh was baptized today at our church, Central United Methodist. She wore a gown that belonged to her great-grandfather from 1913. It was a special day for her and she was perfect. She slept through most of it and didn't make a peep even when she was sprinkled with the cold water. What a relief! Afterwards, we celebrated the occasion at Tim's Pizza with family and friends. Thanks for all the support!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with both sides of the family joining us in Fayetteville. We missed the family members who could not join us for the festivities...maybe next time. Lots of food, lots of family, and lots of fun! We even invited the neighborhood dog, Frankie, over to have some turkey...Daisy was not too thrilled about that. Of course the day would not be complete without football. Hadleigh zonked out on her bear, Gibtubb, while watching with Christian.

Hadleigh has made lots of friends in her first three months. She is going to be quite the socialite. Below is her friend Scarlett and the other two are from Micah Franks' 1st birthday party. Hadleigh napped during cake time since she couldn't partake!

Halloween fun and more...

Moo, Moo! Here's Hadleigh in her cow outfit ready for trick-or-treaters. She helped pass out candy with Daisy, played Golden Tee with dad, and then called it a night. She was pooped after a long day at daycare. All the excitement must of warn her out though, she slept for 8 hours straight that night (a habit we hope she'll keep up)! Here's more pictures from the night. We took Hadleigh out for pizza and then to her first Razorback Basketball game tonight. She did great, except when Christian yelled too loud and scared her to death. The band and the cheering didn't seem to phase her though. He will have to control himself if he continues to take her along! As you can see, she slept through most of it...once we broke 100 points she knew we had it in the bag.

Growing so fast

Hadleigh had her 2 month check up this morning which meant lots of shots. Christian and I got our flu shots along with her so we could all hurt together. She did great though, only screamed for a short while. She is almost up to 11 lbs and 23" long! Somehow we have skipped over all her 3 month outfits and are already in the 6 month ones!

All bundled up for my big morning out.

She loves her sock monkey, especially when it dances and swings its tail for her! Thanks Stu and Melissa.

This is her beautiful bonnet courtesy of Mrs. Shonka.

I finally gave in and chopped my hair off after weeks of having spit up constantly in the bottom few inches...not too aromatic!

Blogging virgins

Well, I thought we'd try this out. Since all of our family and many friends are scattered across the country, we are going to attempt to keep everyone up-to-date on the happenings of our lives. Most importantly, we want you to be able to witness all of Hadleigh's precious moments. Enjoy!
