Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! It is truly the BEST job in the world.
We spent the weekend in Little Rock visiting family and friends. Our good
friends were in a horrible car accident last weekend, but thankfully they are finally all home together again and on the road to recovery. It was sooo good to see them, but wish it had been under different circumstances. Please keep Michelle and Micah in your prayers as they continue to heal.
Since the last post, Hadleigh has graduated up to the next class at school. Apparently the transition didn't phase her at all and she immediately began drinking from a cup (without lid) and doesn't take her paci at all at school (even nap time). She loves school and especially enjoys playing outside. She comes home filthy sometimes! Hadleigh also had her first dentist appointment last week. She had a black spot on one of her teeth which concerned me. Turned out, it was just a stain and came right off. I was so nervous about the appointment, but they said she did great. Granted, she screamed the whole time and I had to hold her arms down, but they were able to do a great cleaning and see everything they needed to. Overall, it was a much more pleasant experience than I was expecting and Hadleigh is now an official member of the Cavity Free Club and will be in the paper in June!!!
